Patrick is an associate at Doyle Dennis Avery LLP who splits his time between Dallas and Houston, Texas. Patrick primarily practices law in the areas of maritime, Railroad/FELA injury, and other personal injuries. Before becoming a lawyer, Patrick obtained dual degrees in History and Economics from Santa Clara University, where he graduated magna cum laude. At Santa Clara University, Patrick was also a four-year member of the crew team, of which he was the team captain his senior year.
Following college, Patrick received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law. Patrick then spent five years at one of the world’s largest law firms, handling complex business and antitrust disputes in a variety of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, retail products, media, and real estate.
He now has experience handling cases ranging from small disputes to billions in dollars of claimed damages through all stages of pre-dispute negotiations to trial. He has appeared before courts throughout the United States and secured victories for his clients on the state and federal levels. He also has experience in appellate matters, including argument before the Texas Supreme Court.
